We’re ending period poverty
The Maltings Tea Rooms and Elmet Lions are working together to end period poverty.
We have stocks of ladies’ items at the tea rooms.
Simply go the counter and say ‘Elmet Lions’ and you will be directed to the stocks.

Club Collection for Selby Food Bank
Members collected items for the Selby Food Bank at a recent club meeting and they were safely delivered on the 14th July.
The Fish Bank supports Elmet Lions prostate testing
Car Boot Sale and Craft Fair
We now stage Car Boot Sales and a Craft Fair at Millford Plants ner Sherburn (Post code LS25 6BX).
The next one is Saturday, 22 July 2023. Sellers arrive from 8:00am while buyers can attend from 9:00. The event finishes at midday.

Glastonbury tents to Ukraine
Lions are amazing people.
We have just had news that Lions in the South West district have packed up tents left at Glastonbury and they left for Ukraine on the 11th July
Derwent Lions Summer concert for Ukraine
Derwent Lions Club’s next big event is a summer concert, this year a Concert for Ukraine, raising money for the Disasters Emergency Committee Humanitarian appeal. Attached is a poster advertising the event.
We have been lucky to sign up two excellent performers, the choir and the band and are hoping for a big response in ticket sales. If anyone wants tickets then happy to be contacted and arrange this.
