At our club meeting on Monday, 10th March, 2025 we inducted two new members. Ali and Debra.

YorKaos art exhibition
We were pleased to attend the opening of the YorKaos event at Sparks in York. The Kids’ art exhibition started in style with a grand opening, ribbon cutting, streamers, speeches and guest artist Lincoln Lightfoot.
There’s no charge to visit. Anyone can come along to view the work of hundreds of local artists aged 5 to 11, take part in the community portrait “Of time and place (2025)” and of course try the great food from the small local businesses at SPARK.

Sherburn Community Gymnastics Club
We love seeing where the money goes when we donate back into the community. We went to see a display at Sherburn Community Gymnastics Club this afternoon….by invitation. Elmet Lions donated money to buy jackets for the Gymnastics when they are competing in Disneyland Paris next year. They were amazing ! Good luck xx

Happy Hedgehog Haven
Elmet Lions love working with local companies to help other organisations. Kingspan have insulated the shed that we donated to Milford Hedgehogs . Thus fattenupper shed will be known as the Happy Hedgehog Haven, a hut where the Hedgehogs go before being released back into the wild.
