We briefly interrupted the regular Monday night pub quiz at the Oddfellows, Sherburn on the 14th November to present our second trophy from the inter-pub quiz.
This time it was for the pub which raised the most money towards the quiz event and once again it was the Oddfellows who were winners. They raised £215.05 of the total amount of £830.
Our photo shows Lions club President Ann Hudson presenting the trophy to landlady Gemma Stead, looked on by the pub’s own quizmaster Ephraim Dainbrook and landlord James Stead.
This year’s quiz was the first of what we hope will be a regular annual feature in our calendar.
We are grateful for the support of local landlords, their customers and our supporters who helped out on the night.
